Simply hyped

Briefly if I would describe. Jimmy Boy has just become a brand name particularly famous for Parsi cuisine and for which they probably charge higher making the best use of their goodwill as a money making tool. I firmly believe food is always supposed to be pocket friendly. I think its way too expensive compared to other restaurants that are at a fairly walk-able distance and fairly priced too.

This was the first time I tried Parsi cuisine. being an aspiring chef I would not say that the specialties are as good as they are hyped

I’d ordered veg dhansak which was almost like the regular "dal rice" which costs around 320 and serves 1 Although I know that the popularity of the cuisine is much inclined towards non veg. I expected Dhansak to be something neutral for both veg non-veg. However it was definitely not bad. but when combining "Qty+ pricing+ taste"   I’m not sure how would the said joint justify the perfection for all three combined

While I completely agree a restaurant joint would naturally make profits. This seems a bit too much. Customers contribute in building brand name but in some manner it backfires the target audience itself.

To conclude its more like a food museum only popularity might make people pay a visit once
