Jio Customer care misguided thrice.

So, a week ago I have called on Jio customer care number regarding the problem of low coverage of Jio wifi router. After inquiring this the customer care representative told me that a Jio engineer will visit me to check with an available solution as well, they (engineers) will bring a Jio Mesh with them which I can buy and they will install it as well themselves along with the wiring. Which is free of cost except I will have to pay for extender only ( Jio Mesh ). Thus making ticket of required Mesh/coverage extender on their end on my behalf which obviously made me very happy.. the next day story has changed. 2 engineers visited me without any extender with pure opposite ticket request of "repair".


Engineers seems to be not even aware of existance of such products provided by Jio. Same day I called customer care again and explained this. Even they accepted that it was not repair ticket but an extender installation request. Again I was assured for the same like the first representative did. The ticket was opened again.. just after a while I recieved a call from other engineers. Supposed to visit me insisting that I will have to buy the extender online without the facility of installation by Jio and I will have to find an another computer engineer and an electrition to do my job with extra charges applied to both.


All they ( visiting engineers ) will do is guide me about the required length of cable after inspecting the location. Sound nonsense right?.. again third time I called customer care mentioning this along with information given by engineers. Again I got assurance for this same and also customer care representative told me that they will raise this issue to the higher level of care and highlight it.


Unfortunately when the engineers finally showed up. They did what they claimed on call before their visit. They have no extender with them. They inspected area and just insisted that I install a third party extender like TP- Link., along with the required cable.. they will send another person for it to be fitted and they will only do the extension installation part with separate payment. They also told me that I can buy a Jio extender myself. But Jio itself will not provide any installation for it.


After this, I totally got fed up.. and just gave them OTP so they left.. with showing me on Jio app dashboard " problem resolved" what nonsense.. now I want to ask Jio who is lying here? Why do you give me false information at the first? and how they can you send such people with lacking information or with independent choices to work. There were 2 visits on my location and still my problem not resolved and 3 times given false information, fake assurance by customer care. How?? What is it? Take money separately for installation if you want. I didn’t ask that I want installation free. The only thing a customer needs is their job is done without any mess of finding separate people for separate work, they failed in that too.
