It is very good I am right now in the middle of getting my new connection. Till now the service has been below average. If I have to rate I will rate it 3–4 out of 10. Now coming to details. On 3rd September I made my mind to get the new connection as Jio just revised its plans and the plans are really very good. I made an online request. The Jio personal showed up the very next day at around 12 o’clock and quickly did my verification and took security fee. He told me the connection will get activated by 6 in the evening. I was happy and by now impressed with the Jio service.
But now the real thing started. Immediately after the verification guy left I received a message saying you have an appointment with jio engineer today at 17.15 pm . I waited till 7 before and nobody showed up. I thought maybe something happened, he will show up tomorrow. The next day i.e on 5th September untill 1 pm nobody showed up. Then I called the customer care. There the people were nice and rescheduled my appointment to 7th September. I was ok.
But now after 1hr out of the blue 3 guys from jio showed up and said we have come to set up your connection. I said ok and called them inside. They began their work and after laying up cables in around 30 mins they said the connection wipl not happen as our server is down. So they took the modem with them.
But still I was keeping my calm. Now on 6th in the morning a man came and started the connection. He set up the modem and started it. Then he kept on doing something in his mobile and after around 15 mins he said the server is down and it will take some time. Now I was infuriated. He left.
The last encounter with jio. Now at 2 a man came. He inspected something and said I am not the engineer in this area. This connection is in the middle of the process so I cannot do anything. Please call the engineer which came earlier.
Can you see? The connection at my home is being established in installments. 1st person came and set up the wiring. Next person connected modem to it. Now one person will come and start the service. This all incident is of Chandigarh.
As of now I cannot tell you about the connection speed. But surely I will update it here if it ever gets started. But for now my experience with Jio is not good.

I the evening I got the connection started. As of now the speed is good but not up to the mark. The connection is of 150 Mbps but it never clocked above 100 Mbps. Since it is practically unlimited, I am ok with it. Will keep giving further updates here.

It has been a week using the service. As for the speed the it is acceptable. Not something out of the world but not any complaints either. It is 150 Mbps network. I have checked a lot of times it everytime clocked between 135 to 145 Mbps. I downloaded GTA V lately and it downloaded in less than 90 mins ( 92.7 GB) . Right now I am satisfied using it. Also considering the price it is worth giving a try.
