I would like to write the review of JioFi wireless router as per my experience:
Company Boasts you can connect upto 31 Wifi enabled devices.( But Speed is not as great as Airtel 4G).
I have tested using speedtest.net
Download Speed is also poor. For Browsing Its OK.
The Best Feature I liked is You can call from a mobile phone without the sim. In a Smart Phone we can insert only 2 SIMs. However you can call from another using this router by installing JIO Apps.
Tested Video Streaming On Youtube( Here also Airtel Wins Over Jio) in terms of Speed without buffering. But Jio takes time to buffer.
Most important thing about JioFi Wifi Connection is that most of the time Firefox Browser complains its an insecure connection.
NOTE: If You use any proxy / VPN Apps on browser you have to turn off it before you access the router page using https://jiofi.local.html/( NOT https) this itself says it’s not a secure connection.
IT can be also used to as an external wifi storage device using MicroSD card.
- Superb Battery Backup. ( It works for approximately 6 to 8 hrs) Even though I work all day.
Security Tip:
You can turn off the SSID Visibility to protect your connection from hackers.
