I watched JISM because it had all of the darkness that is the pain associated with love. JISM is a story about the duplicity and insanity that comes from sexual desire and the love of money. Both lead to the eventual downfall of the characters played by John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. Kabir and Sonia have an ill advised love affair, and as a result, decide to make their partnership permanent. Regardless of the fact that Sonia is married the arrogance of the lovers becomes even more pronounced when they plot to kill Sonias husband. There were plot scenarios that werent anticipated, and this is what saved this movie. John Abraham and Bipashu Basu are extremely attractive, and their presence on screen is enjoyable. What was not enjoyable were the many songs of pain sung by the eventual redemptive Kabir. The songs werent particularly good, and therefore ill advised. If the songs are to be affective in message delivery they should have been more beautiful.
