Soniya is a lonely housewife who frequents bars just to hook the right sucker till her husband comes home in the weekend. Kabir Lal is a bachelor lawyer who takes pride in living life dangerously on the edge.
A chance meeting in a restaurant leads Kabir Lal to find out more about Soniya. Slowly, he begins to love her after knowing more about her each day. Soniya pours out her frustrations to him & he empathises with her.
Soon, they cannot live without each other. So, Soniya asks Kabir Lal to get rid of her husband Rohit so that they can live happily afterwards. Rohit is then murdered & his body disposed off in a fake blast in a chemical factory.
Then, the plot twists. Soniya, by virtue of her husbands death is the sole owner of the property & reveals her true nature to Kabir Lal only in the end. Kabir Lal feels betrayed & shoots Soniya dead. He then surrenders himself to the police.
John Abraham as Kabir Lal & Bipasha Basu as Soniya give excellent performances. Obviously, this role requires Bipasha to exude oomph! & she does that in style. A couple of songs like Awarapan Banjarapan by M.M.Kreem & Shikayat hai by Roop Kumar Rathod are good & worth listening again & again.
M.M.Kreems music is good & the movie is worth watching.
