This is one among the best serial produced by Ekta Kapoor. The story revolves around mainly around the life of the Mughal Emperor ***Akbar*** and ***Jodha***, his Rajput wife and the hurdles in their love story. The show also highlights on how Mughal emperor ***Jalaluddin*** acquires the title of ***Akbar*** from the ***people.
*** Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma as Akbar and Jodha have done justice to their characters. They have lived as those characters in the serial. In the beginning Jodha does not like Akbar and he was also not a kind hearted ruler but the love between akbar and jodha made him to change his character towards the people and helped him acquire the title of ***AKBAR***.
