It is not easy to write on India’s most secular
emperor. It is equally dif?cult to turn him into a
celluloid character. Late K Asif and Ashutosh
Gowrikar really- 3 worked hard to create Mughal e
Azam and Jodha Akbar.
Nevertheless, one is not impressed with tv serial
that only shares its name from those land mark
sagas. Yes, it has aped heavy costume, artistic
designs and mannerisms of protagonists and
antagonists but fails!
Well, it is not easy to be exactly like Durga Khote or
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Prithviraj Kapoor or
Hritik Roshan .
In fact, it is simply poor man’s Jodha Akbar and
really lacks acting, dialogue and very strong
direction.
