AGPPL presents a Ashuthosh Gowariker film "JoDha AKbar" features hrithik roshan and aishwarya bachan.This one is a well-made movie.It protrays the world of amar-chithra katha.Grand sets, and grand songs.
Movie tells about a ruling periode of a secular muslim emperor .Akbar stands for humanism.Akbar stands for Hindusthan.Jodha is a princess from a rajput royal family.She marries akbar for the reasons and agenda set by her king father.The plot is very simple but the way they treat the film is really awesome.
The movie shows whats secularism and the secularism portrayed by this movie is not that "secularism product which you can buy from a pop nes channel brand’.Ashuthosh is bold enough to make akbar state in the climax that "My wife Jodha is a Hindu rajput, If anyone raise a word against her means they are conspiring against the mugal emperor itself ".Excellent.But not upto that standards of Lagaan and Swadesh.
I forgot to mention about the Music which is the best part of the movie.I got enlightened when they played "khwaaja ji".then there is "Aseemul shaan shehansha.", then "kehne ko chashne", and man mohana,
oh.god every song in this film is a classic.One more song is a there "in lamhon ke daaman mein".It
was really evokee some special emotion in your mind screen.background music is just stunning.The one when jodha leaves her own home for akbar’s palace is nothing is short of classic.
DoP is kiran deohans.We know him. He was the cinematographer of the film "Aks".This is a film which has big canvas of war and royal palaces.So obviously there ll be more risks for the cinematographer.Mr’deohans is a self praising man though his performance is good.But I feel if this film would have shot by santhosh sivan, the result must be "words cant explain its visuals" kind of a stuff.
