Joeys Pizza-Its at Andheri(west), at Versova and its hardly a 2 min walk from metro station.
Im a die-hard Pizza fan and I actually love to eat any kind of pizza(vegetarian) from any restaurant-whether its Dominos, Smokin joes or Pizza Hut etc.and Im pretty sure no pizza varietys from any restaurant would ever let me down!
About the location, its very far away from andheri station, well inside, but near to metro.
So you guys would have to catch a metro, so its no big deal. I feel that its located in a congested area, but never mind as far as pizza crazy people are concerned as they would find their way out there and make themselves comfortable.
It has a very mediocre ambiance, a small place say for about 15-25 people. Well, inside the restaurant, you can sit comfortably and also its not a cramped place. Its well lit and fully air conditioned. You guys might face some parking problems.
About the food, as I said earlier, I never had any issues with pizza. First, we had ordered cheese garlic bread. We were five of us and we get four slices so we had ordered two servings. We had our share and we really loved it! It was so smooth and delicious. I guess I never had such mouth-watering garlic cheese bread ever in my life. It was awesome, lip-smacking! Then we had ordered medium sized paneer pizzas(deep dish & thin crust). There were enough paneer toppings, and lots of cheese. At some point I just felt like I was just having cheese and no pizza. But anyways, not a problem, I really enjoyed! They were not selfish but very generous as far as the quantity goes. Hats off to Joeys!
I wasnt much satisfied with the servicing that they offered. Initially we had ordered cheese garlic bread in starters and we got it after 25 minutes. Thats way too long. And also there werent many people in the restaurant, so the delay in servicing shouldnt have been a problem. And about the pizza, the same thing had happened. So Id rate their servicing as 2.5 out of 5. Not Happy.
And at last, the value for money is really jaw dropping! It wont burn huge holes in your pockets. We had a total bill of close to around 1500/-, say hardly around 300/- per guy,
so less money for full tummy! If you want pizzas at cheap rates, then its none other than Joeys pizza!
