Model turned Actor John Abraham has realised and felt this quote after being 3 years in the Film Industry.
John Abraham unlike his contempory who Shahid Kapoor is an undergraduate , John is a MBA from Jai Hind College his dad is an architect Christian while his mom is a Irani Parsi he has his Irani Parsi name Farhaan too . John unlike now when in school was a geek who also participated in sports , he was an athlete and was the soccer captain . John Abraham worked for an Advertisement agency Enterprises-Nexus as a media planner after completing his MBA before that he did various courses such as B.A and M.MS ( not that one). Once there was a situation where the model of his company did not show up and His boss thought John has a good body and forced him to do modellin for the company . John and his boss were very impressed by his work and later his boss encouraged him to sign in for the modelling competition ’’GLADRAGS’’ this was huge turning point in John Abraham’s career as he entered the competition during the deadline period but was later allowed to enter the competition , despite having no technical experience as model John Abraham went to be the 1st runner up in the competition , this gave a boost of moral support later he worked as a model in Advertisement agency in Hong Kong , New York and Singapore .
John Abraham returned to India where he did a couple of AD’s such as Levis and Cinthol , Pooja Bhatt called him up and made him sign him for her project JISM in which he was starred against his current GF Bipasha Basu , the movie became a hit because of its Jism’s moving all around . Then came a series of flops such as Paap , Saaya , Aitbaar , Madhoshi and Lakeer . His career was at its end when DHOOM showed up and boomed John’s ditactors , DHOOM was a super hit because of its very good looking stunts , camera’s special effects and well as the tremendous beautifull Super Bikes like SUZUKI HAYABUSA . This movie made John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan recognised as Superstars. John Abraham after being three years in the Industry , the point struck too his mind where he got the difference between acting and Modelling this happened when he was playing a very sesnitive role in Viruddh where he had a little role to play . Now having his basic acting talents his role was applauded in average grossers such as Kaal and Karam . Then came his test for his comic abilities in the super hit Garam Masala in which the show was completely stoled by Akshay Kumar but John’s acting abilities did not became unnoticed . Then in this year 2006 came Zinda which has done well in threatres , the show was again stoled now by Sanjay Dutt but John Abraham did not lag behind and gave away an outstanding performance for his role which was applauded by the critics as well.
