AAAhh Johnnie Walker Black...the elixir of good life. This has to be my favourite scotch whisky. I have tried other premium brands also but I would rate this scotch to be Numero Uno in its Pedigree. The taste is smooth and subtle at first, then takes on a malty flavour as you work your way through your second and third drink. It never leaves a hangover the next day. This could be because they blend the best malt whiskies to produce this scotch. Cardhu malt whisky is the predominant malt used in the blending of this gentlemans drink. The pricing is just right and though on the higher sides for most, the taste more than makes up for it. The problem is the availability of this fine product in India. Apparently more Black Label is consumed in India that what is produced by the distillery for the entire world. So a lot of people end up drinking spurious stuff.
