Rowan Atkinson a graduate from harvard university came back to england and changed from a harvard nerd to a well known movie star.Rowan Atkinson is noted mainly for his ability to create funny and weird facial expressions which could make people laugh for hours.from stage plays he went to star in the ever famous Mr Bean seriels which I used to to sit and look out for late at night when they were being shown on star world at one point in time.Rowan Atkinson has always been able to create humour in silly ways which will make a lot of people laugh.whether its a line or expression or something that would gross you out, it always will manage to make you laugh some how.
Rowan Atkinson from the bean serials stared in his first movie and the ever popular Bean-The Ultimate Disaster Movie creating laughs that would make your diaphragm explode.in every movie or seriel or movie that he stared in he would hardly have any dialogue recreating those charlie chaplin like days.but this is the first movie that has a good amount of dialogue for him

THE MOVIE-
Agent Johnny English is actually treated as a desk clerk and not more like a secret agent in the beginning of the movie.a conspiracy is brewing up about the famous crown jewels in the tower of london and the english secret service MI-6 is on it.the main man on the job is Agent one who Johnny envies as he has the class and style.Johnny dreams about being one of the best agents on the force but has never got the chance to until the next day.the next day agent one and the rest of the secret agents present on the force are killed leaving none but Johnny English alive.even though not recognized for doing anything Johnny english is given the job of protecting the crown jewels when they will be showcased at a certain ceremony which will be presided by french man Pascal Sauvage
Pascal Sauvage a rich frenchman who owns a large number of prisons in france steals the crown jewels.his main aim to be crowned king of england and convert the entire country to one big prison.but there is one problem the biggest screw up Johnny English is on his tail.Johnny English is accompanied by his partner deputy Bough who basically covers up every mistake Johnny makes.Johnny also meets the very attractive Agent Lorna Campbell who is also on Pascal’s tail in the movie.the movie shows how the biggest and the most proud secret agent ever to exist almost ruins the entire case but in the end wins and proves every one wrong.
BRACE YOURSELVES ITS TIME TO LAUGH-
the movie kicks off with laughter right from the beginning.agent Johnny English brings out the laughter on how he tries to be a hot shot secret agent for MI6 but fails on every attempt.thus causing his poor accomplice bough clean up the big mess he has made. The part that make you crack up every time is when he tries to shoot his pistol on various occasions but in every attempt something goes wrong with it.Rowan Atkinson is basically known for his ability to make hilarious facial expressions.the success of his first movie and hit television series Bean were all due to those funny facial expressions
in most of his scenes Rowan Atkinson never or hardly had any dialogue in his script and did it all with is expressions but this movie has both dialogue and his expressions combined to give you a god doze of laughter.at first I felt that that the dialogue didn’t suit him to well as I was used to all the bean series but it took a me a while to settle down and accept it.all you hard core bean fans watch out for this.
THE ORACLE SPEAKS-
the movie is great is you are in one of those nutty moods.because every thing in this movie is really nutty and hilarious.at first I was a little critical about dialogues for Rowan Atkinson but after a few minutes you tend to settle down.the movie felt more like a spoof of the bond movies to me.but its got it all.for comedy lovers you have the jokes.for car lovers check out the Aston Martin Vantage that Johnny drives and for bike lovers you can take a look at the Triumph that Agent Lorna Campbell rides.it is a nice family movie but at times you could think that the story is a bit stupid.
But what the heck it gave me a good laugh and that is what I expect out of a comedy.happy watching J.
