Sensitive skin sufferers - your solution!

When God created humans, he decided that he shall bestow upon me the most annoyingly sensitive skin in the world. Any soap or face wash I use has to be either fragrance-free or extremely mildly scented, failing which my skin exudes redness that is akin to the colour of the heinz bottle of sauce at home. I tried cetaphil, and though it’s known to be a fantastic product, it can leave this icky film on your face which can irritate your pores. In my case, it did! So Cetaphil was out, and my hunt began.

My family who swears by Old Cinthol soap convinced me to use it. I did. Too harsh again. The same story with pears, dove, and a plethora of other soaps and bars. The hunt ensued. My mind was getting rather irritated with this inane quest, but my skin rationalized with my brain on the grounds that I hardly use it(my brains) and it isn’t really in a position to command authority. Skin won the argument, and the hunt continued.

Then, I came across Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser. It had no fragarance or dyes. I found the perfect solution. My skin loved it! But the celebration was rather short-lived. It’s been out of stock since a few months now and the chemist doesn’t know when it will make a comeback. So the hunt commenced, yet again!

Finally it struck me! Johnson’s baby soap is known to be among the mildest soaps in the market. Heck, if a baby’s skin can tolerate it, mine surely will! Well, it did and how! My skin feels soothed, supple, and calm. There’s no irritation whatsoever.

At present, my skin and me are doing the happy dance! I know this soap is meant to be used till the baby turns 3. But I think was in my case it’s till baby turns 80!
