When I see Akshay Kumar any kind of comic role, I think he performs very well and in Jolly LLB 2 he does a nice job but he was not able to cover the weakness of the plot. The movie starts with a story of a Kanpur based lawyer who is struggling in his career and works as an assistant under a reputed and veteran lawyer. But he has a huge ambition to become a respected lawyer and for that reason he wants to purchase a private chamber. Here we see many scenes with his wife Puspa(Huma Qureshi) who is a alcoholic and she loves him as much as he loves her. That particular scene when Puspa was angry with him and did not open the door, Jolly’s neighbour gave him a ladder and helped him to enter into the house was very funny. Now I want to speak about my two favourite characters of this film Judge Tripathy( Saurabh Shukla) and Pramod Mathur(Anu Kapoor) who in my opinion give this film the more attractive look because of them you will laugh out loud in the theatre. The introduction of Judge Tripathy with his comical entry was so funny. I laughed most of the time when the punch lines were coming from these two characters. Anu Kapoor’s role was a corrupted criminal lawyer who was trying to save a corrupted police officer who was accused with fake encounter charges. The other characters also maintained their balance in this film. But if I look at the film very critically then I can say it was most of the time superficial like there was many situations where you will notice it does not have any connection with the reality which I think very common in most of the bollywood movies. And maximum people of India sadly do not mind this kind of loose plots they love to overlook these things. So if you want to see a good comedy movie with a good realistic story then this is not that kind of movie. I do not like the Pagla song and I did not like the choreography of that song but Bawra song was nice. So it is a kind of mixture of good and bad experiences. I felt in hindi movies most of the time the roles for the women are made very less important. The character Puspa is one of them though you can not complaint about this because it is quite natural in hindi movies. My rating for this film is 6 out of 10. Because Anu kapoor and saurabh Shukla’s performance people enjoyed this film sadly in this film Akshay Kumar’s performance was below average. If you want to see good situational comedy then you can go to see this film.
