This book about seagulls really relates human life. Jonathan Liviing seagull loves freeedom and is a not normal seagull like the outcast. He cares about what he wants to do and that is not what the rest of the flock feels is important. The flock thinks that flying is helpful to get food. And that is all you need flying for. But, Jonathan wants to know what he can do in the air, so he tries to get new things; high level speed to dive. He creates a lot of failure like dropping into the water. But, he never give up. He finally creates success. Those are very similar to successful peoples life like a super sports player or a president of new big company. This book is very humanized that you can almost picture the seagulls, as you read it.
I enjoyed reading this book very much and learned many things like freedom, challenge, never give up, passion, effort, and forgiveness. I was especiallymoved when I read the book No.3, because Jonahtan forgives seagulls who treat Jonathan to be outcast. I think that forgiveness is very beautiful behavior.I want to live like Jonathan.
