My friend Jonny Shah recommended that we see the movie Joy.It is the best movie recommendation I’ve received in this year.
Joy is about a young woman from a broken, chaotic family who depends on her to keep them together. You may know her now as Joy Mangano, the QVC and HSN veteran.
After years of being unfulfilled and living for her family, she realized that she wanted more.
Let’s just say that she changed her life and changed it BIG. Much as diamonds are rare, precious and valuable, you won’t have joy when your daughter finds the wrong fit.
You see that young man with green liquid spewing from his tangent-stuffed mouth, his skinny jeans sagging as he playfully pats the strange looking girl inside the Matatu and you are quiet. Where else do you think he will end up? Whose hearts will he break right under your nose?
If you want an inspirational story and a real life look at entrepreneurship, I recommend this movie 100%.
