Jubilee Park – Tatanagars exotic wonder garden

Jubilee Park, situated in Jamshedpur, the steel capital of Jharkhand, is Asia’s second largest park. The park stretches out for as wide as 14 KM in diameter throughout and is often the most visited places in Jamshedpur.

My parents live in Jamshedpur and therefore, Jubilee Park is our second home. Be it picnics or friends hangout or a casual leisure walk, Jubilee is ideal for any time and occasion.

The Jubilee Park is located in the Sakchi road. The park opens to a broad gate that leads straight into the interior of the park. Just by the entrance is the amusement park. A little further comes the main park and the rose garden. To the right lies the Jubilee Lake and zoo. And a little interior to the park, is the water-light show park.

Amusement Nico park – The amusement park is located just by the entrance to the left of the Jubilee Park. It is divided into two parts – Wet World and Dry World. Entry to the amusement park involves a ticket of Rs.100 per person. The amusement park hosts a number of amazing rides and games that individually charge a certain amount.

Jubilee Rose Garden and Central park – A little ahead of the main entrance comes the Central Jubilee Park. The park stretches for a wide region and is often crowded throughout the day. The major attraction of the park is its Rose garden which showcases a splendid collection of roses of varied types. Then to the top of the park is the statue of JRD TATA, the founder of Jamshedpur. The park also has a water dance which is only active during the night for two hours.

Jubilee Lake – The Lake lies to the right of the central park. It is widely used for boating and fishing. A lot of couples, friends and families are seen hanging out in the lake boating and having fun. Boating is monitored by experts that are active in case of any emergency and is completely secure.

The Zoo – This is one of the most crowded places of the park and is my personal favorite. Entry to the zoo involves a ticket of Rs.40 for adults and Rs.20 for children’s. The Jubilee zoo is a wild assortment of several animals that attract visitors. There are the exotic collection of birds, the ever-sleeping Hippopotamus, the lazy Tiger, African lions, Leopard, King Swan, Bear, Deer, Antelopes, Ostrich, Emu, Crocodiles, Gharials and what not. The butterfly world in the zoo is a mesmerizing place which is soothing and beautiful to watch. I love to hang out in the zoo. It has a calm and serene environment that instantly attracts me.

The Water-Light Show – Besides, all the above, there is a water-light show that runs every day from 6PM to 8PM. It is highly attractive to watch where the colorful rays of water flicker to the music and dance.

Conclusion – Must Visit. There is no other words to recommend you. It is one of the best parks you will ever come across. Calm, Beautiful, Clean and Exotic, Jubilee Park packs it all. Do visit once to find it yourself.
