In ’PRETTY WOMAN’ she outdid richard gere or should I say an oriental male lead and got herself an oscar nomination not being serious as erin brockovich but being at the funniest as a pretty woman aka a prostitute and she did manage to outdo the prettywoman and fight for the california locals and sue a company for 333 million dollars and bought an oscar rightaway with no second thought nominees...And the end result of the movie you ask?....well....WOW! that’s in your face...isn’t it?
Alright she did it, she won the academy award and then got married, gave birth to twins and she’s living the life of julia...well it’s her and again making the entire industry sit and notice her magic by staying calm....and drawing the million list by breaking the ’OPERA’ records in the american history for 20 years and redefining what julia is which is just an example for how powerful she is even now.....WELL, did she strip?.....does that matter?.....doesn’t her perfomance overdo her glamour?....doesn’t her glamour overdo the character?....doesn’t her beauty overdo the movie?.....indeed it does.
Lived with the wild for a week, with the chimpanzees and their likes, washed her own clothes, ate the forest beans, helped the animals and never did she say that she’s an activist....because the term ’activist’ is limited to the inner self and not to be said for publicity....she’s the richest female hollywood star?....well in the sense that she got money?.....think again...she’s the richest at heart, she’s the richest at her personality for what she is....stop looking at her as just a glamour doll....look at her as a talented glamour doll instead.
