I have seen this movie yesterday.Eventhough it had relased ome week before, I watched only yesterday becouse of other interesting movies in the theatres.
First and the last word to explain the theatre experience of thi movie is _ BORING_ .
There were many movies made on the same plot and the story but this movie didn’t make the story clear and distinct.
_ ROOT STORY OF THE MOVIE_
The whole movie was based on the negative and dark side of the film industry.Due to the deep and strong aim and need of a little girl to become a part of the film industry and grow as a star troubles her life.Many of her role models made her fool and she gradually became usedup.
There was a strong social message and a true path narrated about the troubles one have to face in the fast growing indian film industry.
_ PLOT OF THE MOVIE_
As I have said above, there were more movies on the same story and many of them became blockbuster hits and highly awarded movies by both state and central goverments.One of them was _ The Dirty Picture_ .
Like that in each indian regional languages there were couple of movies which suceeded in ilustrating the hard lives of the begginer actors.Many of them had unpleasant endings too.
So audience expected a different plot and series of events from this movie, Julie 2.But what I felt was that it had the entire similar plot and the only difference was the happening period.
Plot of this movie was not a pleasant and not at all new.
This was the major cause of the failure of this movie.
_ SONGS AND BACKGROUND SCORES_
One and only entertaining part of this movie was its songs.Most of the background scores were good.But the real performance came with the songs.
Songs and the background scores of this movie can be awarded with 4 marks out of 5.
_ MAIN NEGATIVES_
There were some couple of things which made the movie boring.If these were managed well by the director, then this movie would have performed better in the box office.
1) Director failed to illustrate and narrate such a popular story in a different way.
2) From start till the end the flow of the movie was the same.This factor made the movie much boring.
3) There were no important and crucial dialogues in this movie.After coming out of the theatre, these strong and bold dialogues can only stay in the mind.
_ VERDICT_
Audience including me waited for this movie to release.But after all the movie didn’t make any satisfaction.Just it disappointed the audience.
There were many cons regarding this movie.Such a strong story should have said in a different way.
Also there was some elements which enlighted the dark sides of the film industry.Some people especially who are working in the film industry may have different opinions too.
