The film is a sequence of amateur - half baked plot points and situations that try to bring alive the romance of the 70’s, but it fails flat because it lacks conviction. Now the things confused me the most was that, the soldier who is not shown fighting a single war throughout the film, is only serenading the girl in Sreinagar and shimla. They sing songs, celebrating festivals with equal fervor. But when the heroine asks the hero to choose between her and army he chooses the latter. Then came in the DDLJ kind story when the saddi kudi(Yami) decides to marry another punjabi munda from Canada. Pulkit and Yami breathe life into there characters in all fairness. I wish they were not saddled with such a dull script.
