Being a book worm it was not economical for me to buy each and every book that I like. This lead me to search for library options in Bangalore. I found Just books through online searches and am very happy that my search effort is fruitful.
Book Plans:
Online account:
Just books offers various plans for the readers like web plan in which u need to pay RS 500 deposit and Rs.150 for every book u read. Online account can be created and books can be chosen from wide variety of collection.
Library accounts :
This proved to be the best option as here they have various reading plans like Basic, vivid reader and so on.For basic reader they charge 200 Rs per month and we can take 2 books at a time.
It means at any point of time u can have two books with you.There is some security deposit of 500.Rs also taken.There are other plans which offer combination of books and magazines as well.
Books Collection :
There is a huge collection of books in English and also few books in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Tamil. (When ever my mother visit us I plan to take a Telugu novel for her).
There are comics like Tinkle, TIN TIN, Archie and also many historic books, Kids books (I see many parents get their small kids to the library and make them to choose from rhyme books and other kids related books. This is in fact a very good idea to cultivate reading in kids).
For fiction fans there are novel from great writers like Sidney, Jeffery Archer, John Grisham, Agatha Christie, Nora Roberts and many more the list just goes on.
Issue/Return :
One more interesting thing I found is every member will be given a member ship card. When ever we want to issue or return the book we need to place the books and card on the machine which identifies the member and the books.This helps in fast issue and return of the books.
I am enjoying myself by getting to read so many books at just 200Rs per month and wanted to share my experience so that any one searching for good library can be benefited.
I have account in Vijaya Bank colony Justbooks which is just situated beside a Cafe Coffee day overlooking a nice park hence when ever I go to get a new book I take a cup of hot coffee enjoy the book while pleasant breeze comes from the park.
