I always use Just Dial for contacts details related to any product or service for the last 3 years. I was quite happy with their service until I got cheated recently. I was looking for a cab service in Goa.and as a practice.went with the one marked as "JD Verified".I was extremely unhappy with the vendor Push Tours and Travels.as he was blackmailing me at the last minute.
I wrote the following review on Just Dial on 13-Sep-11. The reivew is not published till date and I received a call on 15-Sep-11, where the Customer Service personnel was saying."we will inform the vendor".when I checked with her whether the review will be published.she avoided the question. I called them back again.and the person who picked up the phone said that the relevant team is busy and will call me back to discuss the review. Till date no one has called and this review is not published.
We were a family of 8 people travelling to Goa during the first week of September. Going by the "JD Verified" mark, I chose to go with Push Tours and Travels. This turned out to be a big mistake. Pushkal Fernandes, the owner is big cheater. First they gave me a quote of INR 1600 for a Tata Winger for 80 kms and asked me to pay an advance for one day. He confirmed the rate on an email also. One day before I was supposed to be in Goa, one person from this office called me and confirmed the driver’s details. However, only a few hours before we reached Goa, they called me and informed that the price is now 1800 for 80 kms. When I said, this is unethical, Pushjkal started shouting at me saying, take it or cancel it.and banged the phone. I called back and he said, we did not have the vehicle. Either pay 1800 or cancel it.and he was extremely rude to me. By the time, these discussions were over, we were in Goa and I had no option but to pay the extra amount.
So my warning to all the people.
Never ever go with Pushkal Fernandes and his Push Tours and Travels
Do not believe the "JD Verified" symbol and place your trust on Just Dial
Keep three to four options open, just in case you are blackmailed by people like Pushkal Fernandes.
I am extremely unhappy with Just Dial because of the following reasons:
Just Dial gives the "JD Verified" mark by taking money from the business owners
People like me get cheated trusting the "JD Verified" mark as we have been trusting Just Dial for almost 3 years now
Though Just Dial is not responsible for the behaviour of the business owners, Just Dial should take ownership and avoid harm to its brand name by naming any vendor as "JD Verified" by taking money
I wanted to warn others to be careful of Push Tours and Travels.but Just Dial publishes only good reviews(probably written by the business owners themselves with pseudo names)
This way the purpose of Just Dial to be helpful to customers is not served and people get cheated
