I happen to use Just Dial services to find a registered passport agent for passport submission of my new born. I had an extremely bad interaction with the passport service provider and had to go on an extent of getting the Police FIR done for refund, but that’s a separate story.
justdial.com has a review feature where you can review the service provider and I had written the review and submitted. Subsequently, I got a mail from an executive from justdial confirming my telephone number. I replied them immediatly with my mobile number and they called me to verify the problem and they said that if the problem is genuine, we shall submit that review on our website and the service provider was paid customer of justdial.com.
One week later, I got a call from service provider threatening me to take my complaint back from justdial.com which of course I didnt do. However, I could not find my review posted on the justdial.com website, hence I wrote a mail to just dial on the update. Immediatly, the same executive, replied to one of their older mail where they requested for telephone number saying that since I didnt respond to their mail, the case is closed. I immediatly replied to them referencing our communication and asked them why the review has not been submitted, they replied
"Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
With regards to the below review as confirmed thru you and it is been confirmed that you have got the refund amount from the client but the review is been sent for our records hence I had a word with client and asked him to improve his services for further business services with Justdial."
Imagine a situation went so bizzare that I had to request police intervention and get the resolution done, and just dial is not ready to post a review saying that this might impact their clients business. God save any potential customer who would end up going to that service provider, since when I had been to his office, there were 6 other people who were waiting to bash him up. While I don’t trust these service providers, I atleast relied on justdial.com to post my review. What’s the point of the review mechanism if they do not post it. I am not going to use justdial.com in future and would recommend anyone to move to anyother information provider instead of justdial. We do not want a spineless organization who cannot standup to right set of rules set by their processes (review process) itself.
