There is google.com which can literally search and find anything for you at the instant of just a click. The first thing that comes to our mind when we come across a thing we dont know is to search it on google.com. Such is the impact that the worlds largest and best engine has created on us.
However what if we dont have an internet connection. Thats when JustDial comes to our rescue or so it proclaims to do. JustDial is a search engine that enables users to find a certain thing be it any place or hospital or anything through phone call or in their website. Now the ad shows that JustDial can do almost any searches but is it really worth it, lets find out.
My first encounter with JustDial was when I was looking for a hospital in Meerut. Though they gave me the address, it turned out to be an incomplete one. This created more confusion than solution and for a time it felt like it would be better to ask the local shopkeepers than depend on JustDial executives.
Second time I called them was for an enquiry regarding a courier service named DotZot. The courier which had been established recently in the city had a parcel of mine through paytm and was really getting on to my nerves by not being able to deliver it. When I contacted JustDial regarding the couriers address in my region, they were as clueless as the others. Some of the executives gave me a wrong address and some didnt have any idea about the courier and were frank about it. Thats peculiar because their customer executives opinions and instructions vary tremendously on the same product.
At this point I would like to state that though they are doing a good job helping others as such but they have pretty outdated systems with outdated informations, hence any new place or product will be unable to be resolved by them. Besides, there are a lot of negative reviews here regarding customers who have been unsatisfied with their services.
Another thing to be mentioned here is the charge they take to provide the information. A one minute chat with a JustDial executive involves a deduction of almost Rs.2 or 3. This is too pricey as they are never able to help in the first minute and hence, a charge of Rs. 6-10 is a sure shot.
In my opinion, JustDial should only be contacted when there is absolutely no scope of internet access whatsoever. Moreover, do not approach them for any new products or places as they wont be able to help. I guess, a small net pack and google.com does a killer job than that.
