If you are patient enough to read, Here goes my experience..
It was a colleagues birthday and we decided to try Justeat as I also had a discount coupon for the website.
We found a restaurant Punjabi Tadka and placed an order for Rs 1150 with a discount of Rs 150. Well, after about half an hour we received a call from their side that the restaurant is closed today so can they place my order with some other restt.
So, well I checked out this restt they mentioned - The Grill, and thought OK we can go with it! So I asked her to place an order with them, but then I wont be paying any extra amount as the Goof-up was from their side.
I was made to speak to their SENIOR, who was really rude and non-cooperating. He said I will have to pay the extra amount, as it was the restts fault, and not theirs. I told him that if the restt was closed, they should mention it clearly on the website, rather than informing later when the order is placed and even the payment is made.
He offered to transfer my order to yet another restt. Now, I was totally pissed off and told him - this is unacceptable and I will write a negative review about them, .
The SENIOR said they will cancel my order then, and He Doesnt CARE about any negative reviews..
That was it, I told him I work with an e-com portal, and know how things are. if he doesnt pay me back my money right now, I will ask my whole team to write negative reviews about them everywhere at the internet.. and if he doesnt care, then he should just wait and watch for what we do!
Then suddenly he started apologizing, that please dont do this, my business will be affected, . I will get your order done from The Grill with no extra money.. but please dont write any negative reviews..
Well, finally we did receive our order in 1 hr, but the experience with Just Eat was definitely bad!
