We, a family of 7, went to JW Kitchen for a dinner buffet on 18th Nov, after reading up some reviews on the internet about their buffet spread. However, the same turned out to be quite a disappointment for us. Here are our pain points, which stood out-
1) They indeed have a huge spread for the buffet but certainly limited for the vegetarians. Hence, for us, being vegetarians, it did not return good value for money.
2) Taste & quality of food was not really out of the world, very average, which most restaurants serve these days for relatively lower costs.
3) Worst of all, the one thing which makes me write this review is the staff behavior. We did not expect this from a Star chain like Marriott at all. At the beginning, there was one staff who took us around to show the menu but after this, throughout the course of our meal, there was no one who came to check with us about the meal or even to serve water as & when needed. We had to look around & call for people every time we needed a glass of water. Even the rotis were served only after we called for someone by which time our vegetables were all cold. It looked like we did not exist for the staff there. Have never seen even a 3 Star hotel treat its customers like this! came as a surprise to me.
Anyway, that would be my first & last visit to JW, never again in this lifetime!
