JW Mirage is a family restaurant with a chic ambiance. Located in the M2K mall, JW Mirage is well-connected and usually thronged by families. The service here is normally pretty quick and the ambiance is pretty clean too. However, the place needs to work on its non-veg dishes. The eat-out area is slightly small, so it may feel cramped to some.
The hygiene of the place is on the lower side. When I was here last time, I could see a few tables not cleaned properly and tissue papers lying around them. The staff is slightly rude, even the manager seems to be indifferent towards the customers’ requests.
The menu here covers Indian cuisine as well as some Oriental dishes. However, my recent foodie adventure here did not turn out to be a good one. The Naans and Rotis were nicely made and even the Matar Mushroom was delicious. However, the non-veg dish was a disaster. Few of my friends ordered Murg lababdar and told me it tasted horrible. Even I could notice its weird smell. The chicken pieces were not properly cooked and my friends left all the pieces intact.
I had a go at the Kadai Paneer and it was just about average. A few paneer pieces were hard and felt like rubber while chewing. Adding to that, the service was extremely slow. It took the waiters more than 30 minutes to deliver our order and the management did not even apologize for the delay.
Overall, an average eat-out with slow service and rude manager. Given the quality of the food, the prices of the food-items should be much lower than what they are now.
