Dear Friends,
This is my first review and what prompted me to write was the miserable treatment from K G Hospital, Coimbatore.
Dad was diagnosed with low platelets count in blood and was rushed to K.G hospital and was treated by administering 6 pouches of blood. He became normal but within a matter of 24 hours his condition worsened. Doctors did not know what was happening with dad and said he needs to be in ICU and given more blood.
Fining a donor is not easy and K G being a large hospital, they should have helped us to arrange blood. They didnt!
We(not doctors) took an important decision to move dad to Vellore CMC in a ICU Ambulance. This is when we faced lot trouble - Decision to move him was taken at 8 and by the time we started, it was 1.30 PM! They freaking took 5 and half hours to settle the bill and to arrange the Ambulance. And the saddest part was when they said the Ambulance driver is still at home and we need to wait for 30 minutes. We had to pay seperately for the Ambulance, for the technician and the driver. What the Hell - A Patient is critical and they do all this crap.
Experience in Ambulance.
It is a 6 hour drive from Coimbatore to Vellore and it was very critical to reach vellore at the earliest - Ambulance driver was so cool and he didnt give a damn about the situation we were in. He was driving at 90 KMPH! A 800 CC car goes much faster than that. And the worst thing was, he stopped inbetween for 30 mins for What - For drinking tea! How can a human life be of so less value for these Morons? Finally, after 7.30 hours of journey, we reached vellore. Dad is currently getting treated at CMC and so far its been a good experience there.
In a nutshell, Based on my personal experience, we were treated very badly at K.G and they lacked in many things you expect from a hospital.
No Care, Money comes first, Etc Etc.My Request - Please do not take your dear ones to K.G Hospital, Coimbatore.
PS - Please rate and help me to write a better review next time. Thanks.
