I had a horrible experience with KG hospital. We rushed my dad to KGH as he had a stroke, there were no doctors or lab tech to do a scan and he was made to wait near the door of the scan center for almost an 45 mins till they came back from lunch!! He was in severe pain and fainted near the door.
We were so helpless and were threatened by the staff (Mr. Gerard) that the Chairman is a very powerful man and nothing can happen if you complain to anyone in Coimbatore/TN. After a long wait, he was taken in the scan room and since his condition was critical, he was admitted in the ICU. There again was an explicit behaviour of irresponsibility from the doctors especially one Sr. NeuroSurgeon. He showed lack of respect for feelings and spent a min with me to tell " The case is very serious, we cant do anything" never bothered to even understand a bit of what we are going through. For that he charged around Rs.5000.
Constant religious chants in the ICU irritated me, I was expecting the place be maintained silent!! My dad passed away in that hospital few hours later. My uncle passed away in that hospital few years back aswell. Seems like all is right to make money - Mr. Bakthavatsalam ...... You will stand before the almighty for the deeds you have done. Every action will stand testimony against you. You may think cheating 1000 patient families and doing free BP and eye camps would set you right in front of God and Man. May be men are deceived, God is watching your every action! Be aware!
The actual feedback for KGH was given by the caretaken in the cremetorium when she said " I dont know why most of the bodies come here are from KG?"
