Well first of all let me tell u that I am the student of this college and it is an autonomous that means it has its own rules and regulations.So whatever I would say will based on my experience. I am doing my bachelor degree in this college.
The somaiya college is famous for its beautiful campus which includes beautiful gardens, cricket ground, athletic ground, badminton rooms and many more.Talking abut faculty members they are dedicated to their jobs. The teaching staff are highly qualified and experienced and give you more knowledge what you want that does not means that they bore you but they are happy to give you.The professors are best and feels happy to solve your doubts and difficulties.
Talking about liking and disliking then they are as follows;
Liking-I like the campus of this college mainly the athletic ground, teaching staff, and more such things.
Disliking-I personally did not like the Aided section of this college, means the physics practical instruments needs to be improve & some silly rules. The admission process is li’ll bit slow & their is huge queue to take admission.
Since this college is in Vidyavihar, Mumbai. then those who live around this area or nearby around 3-4 kms they can surely come to this college, added to they suitable marks to enter. And those who are living far way from this college they can see other colleges around them, so that travelling shouldn’t be an error. Otherwise if they only want this college then they can. Also I would say that this college is Gujrati minorty, so those who are gujju’s they can defnitely come & can take admissions.
This college not for the people who have lost their interest in studies cause if you don’t study properly then you are going to have KT’s and all.
