KR Gouri Amma college is the only one of the good college situated in thuravoor. Now the name of KR Gouri Amma College has been changed to SNGM Arts and Science College. SNGM means Sree Narayana Guru Memmorial College. Campus is situated in valamangalam south which is in thuravoor. College compound covers several acres of land. There are several couses offered in SNGM College. It offers several facilities like college bus, library, wifi, smart classrooms, etc.
Final words :
It is overall a good college but the locality it is situated is some what poor. There are only few buses available from the highway to the college situated area.
