Kaabil was a much waited Hrithik Roshan’s movie for me after after consecutive flops latest being Mohenjodaro.
I was expecting too much of this movie though I had very less to no idea about story or anything.
I just knew that Hrithik Roshan is in main role and Yami Gautam is playing the female lead. Music side was just another incarnation of old hits, that I typically hate listening to.
The first of movie is ols love story of two blind people Hrithik and Yami falling in love after meeting in an aranged dateand getting married afterwards. In the first half of love story what happens between Hrithik and Yami is so boring for audience and hardly gives any feel.
In the second half enter the villain bros Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy who are real bros as well in real life.
The story moves ahead with rape and death of Supriya(Yami Gautam), After the death comes a bad cop played by Girish Kulkarni. Then the second part is full of revenge and making the move more like a south Indian action film.
I am still confused what Director Sanjay Gupta actually wanted of this movie. Movie has some old times dialogues like "Kya andhera andhero ko Roshan karega", the story looks more dully showing after math of a rape victim, I wonder how such issues can be ever be commercialized.
I wonder so much what has happened o Hrithik Roshan, he has been my favorite since long.
Why is he selecting movies with so average or below average subject.
I hope he learns soon.
Overall its good to have a good and sound sleep at your place than to dull your weekend with such a dull and boring movie.
