Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil, directed by Sanjay Gupta, opened in theaters today. The revenge-thriller received great response considering another big film, Raees, starring Shah Rukh Khan, also released today. The critic reviews of Kaabil have been majorly positive, it seems like the fans are loving the film even more than the critics have. Diehard fans of Hrithik, which are quite a lot in number, are sure going to love the movie.
Many theaters opened with a full house first show, and we caught up with a few audience as they left the cinema halls. “Kaabil is epic! ”, one ardent fan opened up his pretty long monologue about how awesome Hrithik and the movie are. The fan also revealed that he cried in while watching the movie. He even adds that Hrithik’s performance was so moving that an elderly couple sitting next to him could not hold their tears. Hrithik’s performance has been exceptionally praised by everyone. From the younger lot to the elderly, Kaabil has left everyone impressed – and we have the video proof of the fans showering their love on Kaabil. Currently, Kaabil has managed to register an average occupancy of 45-50 per cent in the morning shows. We expect the movie to see a spike in growth and collections by tomorrow as it is a public holiday.
Hrithik Roshan is certainly very much aware that Kaabil is the best film of his career. “Kaabil is the best film of my career. I was hoping to get a good response but this is unexpected! and I am very thankful that everyone is liking it. I got to know people from all over the country are celebrating by cutting cakes, sharing posters and doing so many other things. I am seeing all that and even though I haven’t been there with them I want to say thank you to all those fans and I promise that I will go to their cities and hug each of them. I will put in more hard work and that’s the only way I can return all the love, ” the actor said at a press conference in Mumbai. Bollywoodlife noted the same in their review – “Kaabil is Hrithik Roshan‘s career best performance. Watch and marvel at what can easily be termed as the finest performance to come out of Bollywood in a long time.”
