Not content with making human beings look like a bunch of idiots . bollywood have deceided to cross the wild frontier into animal land. This isnt a movie about tigers though its about ...well no one really knows what its about other than Esha deols lovely outfit.
the movie starts off with a song , its quite catchy if you dont have the volume turned on and pay attention to malaika arora instead.
Shah rukh Khan looks like her father , and should cease to wear clothes that make him look like hes had far too many kingfishers during the shoot. but then again its a karan johar production so it really doesnt matter how shah rukh looks.
The movie starts off with some animal expert guy from the national geographic. Although by the end of the movie the only thing he seems to be good at is maintaining his hair under dire circumstances.
He is parterned by esha deol who is given a limited amount of lines , good thinking by the director there .
Then we see a bunch of apes trying to maneouvre a new jeep , (I thought this was about tigers). twenty seconds into watching them speak and act and you hope the animals in the movie were kept hungry for days before being unleashed onto the sets with them.
Ajay devgan then appears and looks as bored as any of the audience members and keeps his dialogue limited to one liners which is exactly what the back benchers at the theatre were doing at this point of the movie .
they then travel through jungles , get killed , get scared , scream and try to look pretty before the inevitable end to the movie.
Theres a nice little scene when two tigers appear and then walk away with ajay devgan entering the scene . Even the tigers realised theyre being given the short straw here .
The real winners in this movie are the young boys in the audience , Esha deol and lara duttas outfits make all of us belive that camping trips and not nightclubs are where women put on their skimpiest. Esha deols tombraider outfit is what probably saves the day , while lara duttas acting while wearing a miniskirt is a sight to behold .
The young director must be given his props though , the death scenes are quite well done , if only all of them were wiped out as gruesomely , it could have been such a better movie. Also filming all those action stunts without peeping through lara duttas clothes is admirable .
I dont wanrt to spoil the ending but I will anyway , by the end of the movie you realise that Ajay devgan hasnt smoked a single cigarette , truly suprising .
