I watched this movie with my husband, and although he did not like it, I enjoyed it! The cast was very good, with Ajay Devgan, Vivek, and my favorite John Abraham. The direction and camerawork were excellent! But it left something to be desired.
The storyline was weak. One knows the suspense early on. I also fail to understand how people could be so stupid as to make mistakes and pay for them with their life. Viveks friend goes to the jungle to hunt tigers alone. How stupid can one get! When Ajay Devgan tells Esha not to go to the well, she does not listen to him. If she was so thirsty, she could have just woken him up and asked him for water. Moreover, it fails to escape me how a grown women cannot control her thirst, given the circumstances. I have not yet been able to digest that women are portrayed in many Hindi films as weak and stupid. Anyways, she dies in that feat. The other puzzling thing is that in the end, when the suspense is all out in front of the remaining cast, they just keep running and exit the jungle. How the hell did they know that the road they took was the right one? I mean, they took Ajay alongwith them because they were unfamiliar with the jungle. And now, all of a sudden, they run away from him and exit? That was absolutely ridiculous.
But I enjoyed it, mainly because I had not seen a thriller in so long, and was so bored of the melodrama.
