This movie, Kaante, had put into peoples mind thorns, literally of resentment that when the most awaited picture of the year will release.It finally did, and it did not produce the much awaited ’’bang’’ that it was going to create.I would not call this movie totally hopeless or bad, as it has some really good selling points, but it finally goes somewhere near the downside.Kaante as most of you know is about six young twisted minded, criminal idieologied(sorry if my english is wrong) people, all six having different aims somewhere, but to get there they have to pass through one common door, that is the money in the Service American Bank, which will fulfill their aims.The picture is a bank robbery in reality, but the robbery part lasts only for about 15 minutes, and most of the movie is dedicated to the excellent humour of Bali(Mahesh Manjrekar) and the coolness of Sunil Shetty, Amitabh and rest of the gang.The picture will definetly be rejected by some people of the society as it sports foul language but it can be wacky and entertaining.The major star of the movie is definetly Mahesh Manjrekar as he keeps you in your seat or you would have definetly gone off in about an hour by the dull boring characters played by others.Anyways, the movie also sports a new faded yellowish look, adding a touch of classiness, but the storyline is a bit baseless.I would not say that you NOT see the movie as it’s worth seeing once, and if you like most people love humour, than you will love Mahesh Manjrekar too.
