Superb performance from 'Karthi'

Gokul’s screenplay was very slow in the 1st half and the latter part looked like a very lethargic one except that 30mins flashback . Even the flashback had that much powerful scenes to cheer up the audience . Till the last scene, the reason why’Sri Divya’ came to the board was mysterious and that reason was not convincing too . Vivek’s comedy doesn’t entertain the fans much eventhough he has lot of scenes . The politician character appears for many sequences but he’s completely unwanted to the movie . Dialogues despite of written by 3 people, they doesn’t pack a punch on the whole . Sabu Joseph’s editing could have been a lot more better and he should have definitely trimmed a lot in the initial half mainly as it feels there’s nothing happened in the movie till interval . Anbarivu’s stunts were extremely cinematic especially the way he has choreographed the war sequences gave a huge disappointment .’Gokul’ taking this genre could have been more sharp and he should be blamed for making some unnecessary expenses .

VERDICT - Appreciable plot with superb performance from’Karthi’ is flattened by a sluggish pace & a careless mix of various genres .
