Analysis:
Performances wise, the film is very good. Rajinikanth is at his best and surprisingly Radhika Apte puts an amazing performance in the film. She equally performed with Rajinikanth. In a particular scene that comes in the second half where she gets re united with Rajinikanth, her performance shows how good an actress could be. She is a gem on Indian screen and we could not imagine any other actress in the place of Radhika Apte. Dhansika also puts a good performance and impressed everyone. Veena Ghantasala’s dubbing suited her well. Sahithi’s Telugu dialogues are good. The cinematography is nice. The music is not so engaging but the background score of the film is a major highlight. The director P A Ranjith was over excited when he has actor like Rajinikanth and the result was very much disappointing.
On a whole, Kabali is neither strong with content nor Rajini mark mass elevations. The film has some good moments which are not enough to satisfy the audiences.
