Rajinikanth is going to be seen in the title character and he plays a aged gangster in Malaysia, whilst Taiwanese actor Winston Chao, Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyarasan, and John Vijay star in other pivotal roles. The makers have began their shoot for the film in the month of August last year in Chennai and successfully wrapped it up in less days which finally resulted the film entering the theatres now. The shooting of the film Kabali mostly occurred in Malaysia, smaller scenes were shot in Bangkok and Hong Kong as well. The film is slated for release on 22 July 2016 which is going to be a friday.
