Never Say Good Bye!! Atleast To The Title Track

The most awaited album of the year is here. The team of S-E-L and Karan Johar are back after the stupendous success of their Kal Ho Na Ho, which I personally think was highly over-rated. Lets quickly move on to the review. Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna Singers:Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik This song has all the ingredients to be another smash hit like KHNH.The song has got a very good melody and though it reminds you of KHNH, Its good, neverthless. Sonu Nigam is in splendid form as he breezes through the song, in style. Alka Yagnik has tried her best to ruin the song, with all due respect :P.There are some parts where she’s literally shouting especially at "Aansoo Hai Yaa Angaare.." I wonder how SEL missed this :( All in All, A Winner to start off the album. Mitwa Singers:Shafqat Amanat Ali, Shankar Mahadevan This is a kind of song one has never heard heard in a Johar Movie.Belonging to Paki Pop genre, it sounds like the earlier Junoon compostions. Anyways, The Song is very good. Shaqfat has done amazing justice to the song with able support from Shankar. Where’s The Party Tonight Singers:Shaan, Vasundhara Das, Loy, Shankar Mahadevan Its the mandatory disc number in the Johar Movie. This one is good though, much better than the stupid It’s The Time To Disco.Noone sings these songs better than Shaan. He completely breezes through.Vasundhara is very good.Loy And Shankar give able support. Tumhi Dekho Na Singers:Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik It the Love Ballad which is again mandatory in a Johar movie. If you listen carefully, You’ll observe that this song is based on an interlude used in the title song. The Song is very good though, higly melodious.Alka is very good here and Sonu is excellent as usual. Its the second-best song after the title track. Mitwa Revisited Singers:Shafqat Amanat Ali, Shankar Mahadevan Remixed By Indrajit Sharma Its the remixed version of the song Mitwa. I personally love this remix.Great Job Done By Indrajit Sharma Rock ’N’ Roll Soniye Singers:Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Mahalaxmi Iyer This is worst song of the album for me.It sounds a lot like Maahi Ve and Pretty Woman. The singers try their best to give it all, but the song isn’t good enough. Skip It!!! Farewell Trance Singers:Shweta Pandit, Caralisa Mixed By DJ Shane This is the lounge version of the title track probably added keeping in mind the NRI audience. The singers don’t have much to sing, Its more of an instrumental. Not Bad!! My Take:Pretty Good Album.Go Buy It!!The CD costs just Rs.99
