Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham.....................Yipeeeeeeee!!!!!
My fellow Hindi movie Buffs, this can only happen if the Oscars start a new category, “The Biggest loser movie of the year“, or it can be, “The Biggest cry baby movie of the year“, or it can also be, “The most lousy movie of the year“, and I can think of so many more. But this not the time for me to banter on and bore all of you with my imaginative categories. So I am going to rate the movie, In my way, here goes........
This story is about a happy family........ As usual. Mr. young Roshan is a star in his school, he is the perfect all rounder, plays well studies well etc etc..... You know gets me thinking, why is there this obsession with the hero being perfect? Insecurities??? I wonder. Oh yeah he writes to his Mom and Dad from school too, and that my friends the way it is portrayed is very irritating. Well the drama begins when he decides to go and visit his favorite Girlfriends (Coz he is squeaky clean till then of course) His “ Nani” And “Dadi”... and he over hears them gossiping.... oppppppps sorry then talking and feeling bad about Mr. Khan leaving home.
On further perusal of the topic he is given the whole background of the family and also what led to Mr. Khan leaving the house. Then Mr. Roshan goes on a hunt for his beloved brother and the sister in law he never knew. Well he does find “Poo”, who might I add is the all popular pretty girl, who rates guys on a scale from one to five!!! Well he does give his introduction with the clever use of “ Chandu ke chacha ne, chandu ki chachi ko.......” Very very intelligent don’t you agree?
Then Miss Poo gets him into the house and all the unwanted drama begins. After a lots and lots and lots of crying everyone is united. Please don’t ask me to go further into detail, I will go insane.
Well there are three main stages of the movie; anyone who has seen it knows so. The three stages are-
We are all happy so....... We will cry
We are all sad so ..... We will cry &
We are all happy again so .........we will cry.
There are a few things good about this movie, first of all Kajol and Farida Jalal. Both of them have done as well as anyone can do when dealing with a dead script. Kajol looks pretty through the movie, and Farida Jalal has done pretty good work. The costumes for the women are really nice; the set is pretty exaggerated, but impressive.
Unfortunately, the costumes for the men cannot be said to me impressive. They are much too feminine. All the Kurtas and Pajamas are full of chicken work and that has been over done. Another thing is the costumes of Kareena Kapoor (Here I go again, Remember I am pushing for an I hate Kareena club.....Heheheheh) the fact remains that a majority wants her to disappear, if she does not want to comply with that, at least let her cover up. Rather than the I hate Kareena Club, we can start... Dressing up Kareena Charity organization. I volunteer first!!!!!!
But don’t despair, this movie K3G is a great laugh riot. I will state my reasons. First and foremost, the entire tear jerking? What is up with that, all the men cry more than the women in this movie, I call this movie the one with six lead females.. hhehehehe

Hritik Roshan.
Second and very important reason. Jaya Bachan, she needs to lose a lot of weight believe me, she looks like a “Dian”, “Chudail”, you know what I mean, and every time Sharukh khan is hugged by Mr. roshan, or sharukh khan is coming, she turns around, portraying that she sensed him through motherly love. Mrs. Bachman, It looks more like you smelt his blood and are hungry for a taste of it. I am serious she looks scary.
Well I have a copy of the movie at home. I see it whenever I need to laugh out loud, coz the movie is so funny and exaggerated that I burst out laughing at all the stupidity in the movie, so if you have not seen it yet go and see it, and let me know what you think.
