All About Kabul Express - How Close Ro Reality

PLOT :-

This is a thrilling story, spanning 48 hours, of five individualslinked by hate and fear, but brought together by fate to finallyrecognize each other. Five people from different worlds, their pathsare destined to cross in a ruthless country devastated by war –Afghanistan.

CAST & CREW :-

Arshad Warsi...... Jai Kapoor (TV journalist - cinematographer)

John Abraham...... Suhel Khan (TV journalist - director )

Salman Shahid...... Imran Khan Afridi (Pakistani journalist)

Hanif Humghum...... Khyber (Afghani driver and guide)

Linda Arsenio...... Jessica Beckham (journalist from New York)

Kabir Khan.......... Director

Aditya Chopra.......... Producer

HOW CLOSE TO REALITY :-

If we talk about reality then Kabir Khan has succeeded in showing reality in terms of :-

---> Star Cast from their respective countires

---> Truth about the plight of women in Afghanistan

---> Truth about how people/children have lost there limbs because of Land Mines.

---> For food mostly kebabs were available.

---> Hatred to Afghanis towards Taliban.

---> How reporters were keen on getting interview of Taliban immediately after US attack post 9-11 period.

---> People carrying Rocket Launchers and AK 47 and AK56.

But according to me, Kabir Khan has over-exaggerated in showing destroyed buildings because all the building in movie were either more than 80% destoryed or completely destroyed. I say he exaggerated because at that time (Nov, 2001) the coverage of Afghanistan on News Channels and National Geographic showed building were destoryed but not to the extent that is shown in the movie.

The cars used in the movie were new which is reality in todays time but not during the period which is shown in movie.

MUSIC :-

There is no song in the movie. But Yashraj Films have come out with an Album which contains Promotional Songs and Background Score of the movie. The promotional song Kabul Fiza featuring John and Arshad is doing well. Also the background score complements the movie.

ETC. ETC ETC. :-

---> The movie is aimed at tarnishing the image of Pakistan by showing that Pakistan was helping Taliban by providing them with men,   money and guns.

---> Salman Shahid(Pakistani Taliban) has given a powerful performance and Arshad Warsi(Indian Journalist in movie) that provided the required hurmour in the movie.

WHETHER ONE SHOULD WATCH THE MOVIE :-

---> Definately a must watch for those who like seeing Afghanistan on News Channels and National Geographic.

---> Definately a must watch for those who like to see some thing different.

---> Definately a must watch for those who like to see one liners of Arshad Warsi.

---> If u want a break from those 3 hours movie then u can watch this movie as it is of only 2 hours.
