The heating element coil of my Kaff Built-in Oven, got malfunctioned in 20th August 2018. Registered the complaint with 1800 180 2221. After several follow ups they have attended the complaint on 10th september 2018. The service engineer from Kaff Authorised Service center attended and quoted Rs.9500.00 for replacement of new part for which, I have agreed.
On 12th September 2018, the service engineer replaced new set of heating coil and payment of Rs.9485 was made.
Next day when turned on the oven for baking bread, we found that the oven have short circuit and live current was passing through. Immediately called the service center and 1800 call center. they promised to look on this matter.
In Spite of repeated calls and followup with the Kaff service center, on 7th December 2018, at 7pm they brought a new Coil and replaced. It was working for a while of 10 minutes.
Next day when I turned on the oven to preheat it, after 5 minutes the whole electrical circuit board got tripped.
I called the company authorised service center at Malad, Mumbai, They said what we can do, thats what the company has given, please follow up with the head office. Frustrated with this attitude, I have called the head office in Gurgaon. The reply they have given was by text message is that we are busy in the meeting.(Twice).
I called Mumbai regional office in Malad, but refused to attend my call by disconnecting.
Now, My last option after this 4 months of horrific and terrible experience with Kaff company, I have to approach the consumer court to resolve my problem.
Just imagine, what kind of service they have provided, in spite of their tall claims on their products by advertising in news papers.
