Worthless service

I have a Kaff mabel kitchen chimney and am using it for the last little more than 2 years. Th warranty is for a year and exactly at 1 year 1 month the motor burned out and I had to pay a hefty amount to install a new one. Hurriedly got an AMC done and was assured that their representative will visit every 3 months for checkup and cleaning (from their side, we were cleaning the mesh weekly).


No one came for 6 months and one turned up after repeatedly ringing up their service center in Delhi (service center is in Nanika Intenational, Gurgaon) after 5 months. Completely fed up with subsequent erratic non-existent service calls, I was told last week that no new AMC is being done for the last one month. The chimney’s motor was getting off after only 30 min of running and it took 8 days for the service people to come. I dread when the AMC gets over in April 2009 then I shall be at the mercy of the exorbitant charges they will levy for every fault in the already faulty system.


With no AMC and their present status of service I shall advise good thinking, sensible people from staying away from ths company at least in Delhi.
