Extremely poor after sales service

I bought a Kaff hob and chimney a couple of years ago. From the very beginning, the self-lighting mechanism gave me trouble. I got into a service contract with the Kaff showroom where I bought it from (Malad West, Mumbai). Things got worse. The showroom vanished from there overnight. There was no forwarding address. No way to contact them.

Till recently I saw an ad in the papers and contacted them.

Told them I need my hob and chimney serviced. The knobs needed to be replaced, lighting mechanism did not work and the chimney and its light were not working.

My experience with them was harrowing and if it was not for the money I have already spent on these appliances I would have gladly given up on them.

A day or two days job took well over two weeks and at least 4-5 calls per visit. No one came as promised. No work was done as promised. Even now my knobs are not replaced. And I spent over Rs. 4000/-  in which amount I would have gladly bought a new chimney from the nearest competitor.
