A true Indian classic....certainly not confusing!

At least to this "ABCD" - this film inspired me to get a Hindi language learing tape set in the 1970’s - I mean - to catch the nuances of Guru Dutt’s direction/dialouges was to be in heaven at that point in time and space.

The photography, perhaps typical of the times when this film was produced, hastened me back to a period before I existed - I would kill to have lived in the times Guru Dutt produced this masterpiece.

There , alas, is no way to go back in time (and space) other than to sit for the three odd hours watching this film in a darkened room - alone, with none but yourself such that the passions evoked could remain the personal "gift" from Guru Dutt himself.

None thus far in "Bollywood" has done this to me - look, im not "gay" but if I were born as a female I would find ole Guru-ji to be an obsession......
