A brilliant serial...
A family of four brothers their wives and the parents were not just enough that they have introduced the new generation now.
Om, Parvati and Shruti... the main protagonists. Kiran Karmakar(Om) does an excellent job of a doting husband, brother and father. Sakshi Tanwar(Parvati) as usual is the main bahu and does her job well same goes for Tina Parekh(Shruti).
Ajay, Avantika and Monalika... Prabhat Bhattacharya(Ajay) did his part well till his death which was one of the best storylines. Sweta Keswani(Avantika) came out as the real killer of her husband and her exit was brilliant with a brilliant performance. Mansi Varma(Monalika), their daughter brought up under the influence of Pallavi has a very different character from the usual Aggarwals... her acting is very commendable. The new Avantika came in played by Nivedita Bhattacharya but was blasted to oblivion by Chetan Hansraj(Sasha) who plays the role brilliantly.
Kamal, Pallavi and Krishna...Ali Asgar(Kamal) does not have much screen time nowadays but as usual lends good support. Shweta Kawatra(Pallavi) the woman out there to destroy the Aggarwals as usual is the best part of the serial. She is the evil woman without overdoing. Her performance is natural. Krishna is Kamal’s son(Sachin Sharma) is coming up with a good storyline...natural acting. The new Pallavi has just come in to spice things up played by Achint Kaur. Gun played by Purva Gokhle has added extra spice and support as Krishna’s wife.
Gaurav, Shilpa and Sunaina(Sonu)...Gautam Chaturvedi(Gaurav) does not have much to do either but lends good support. Karishma(Sonu), is Gaurav’s daughter through Shweta his friend. She had a brilliant storyline and her performance was very well appreciated. Surabhi Tiwari(Shilpa) was a brilliant actress but did not have much to do...so she was replaced. Sucheta Trivedi(Shilpa) the replacement is also a very good actress... she is very much involved in the serial and her mother storyline with Sonu was one of the best. Shilpa can hold her own against Parvati and Pallavi put together. Now Shilpa has been replaced again and is played by Jayaa Mathhur and she is doing well.
Rest of the cast lend good support and ones to watch out for are Tisca Chopra as Mallika, Rupali Ganguly as Gayatri, Indira Krishnan as Anjana and Abhay Vakil as Parth.
Mohnish Behl plays Suyaash Mehra a business tycoon with brilliant style and conviction. Mita Vashisht has also been roped in and plays Trishna who is Kamal’s current wife.
The current storyline indicates return of Om who was presumed dead. Parvati is getting mixed signals about him being alive. Trishna is helping her in this quest.
