Even with the 25 odd writers floating around, Ekta Kapoor managed to create a goof-up as big as this !
Believe me, I have NO interest in watching ’’Saas-Bahu’’ serials. I just happen to catch it before the next show (Saans - which is pretty good BTW). Here are the key elements of the show :
1) A good soundtrack by Sunidhi Chauhan
2)A collection of Eerie sounds, misplaced in the show
3)A lot of turn around and look shocked Shots for ALL the cast members
4) A perennial preparation or Execution of some Puja, Yagna or some shady act of some kind.
5) Somebody who keeps following somebody, nobody still has any idea about it ( I guess this has been running for 2-3 yrs).
6) A decent looking Sudha Chandran with a collection of Hideous Bindis ( which she calls trend setting)
So using all this, the director ( or whichever guy) makes a concoction of sorts - people in perfect clothes, perfect sets, and perfect makeup looking shocked, irritated, scared about something or the other.
Please watch it....Its really good for ’’Phemili’’ Entertainment !!
