Kahin to hoga is the story of Kashish and Sujal, who love each other intensely but fail to be life partners. Their love-hate relationship, after Kashish has married Sujal’s best friend, Piyush (to fulfil some misguided sense of family responsibility) has been going on for quite long now.
Also, goof ups galore and loose ends stretch the imagination of viewers.
In one scene, Kashish’s sisters are heard telling their father that her wedding anniversary is in the offing.
How can that be? Remember Kashish and Sujal had their first major misunderstanding when Rishi ’s engagement was called off because R told Sujal that he was not responsible for Mehak’s pregnancy? Well, Kashish and Piyush got married much much later , so how could one year have passed and Mehak still pregnant (she is even going to college comfortably, for heaven ’s sake) ,

On the plus side are the songs and excellent performance from Rajeev Khandelwal as Sujal. But there are so few songs these days..sad..
Everybody is waiting for kashish and Sujal to finally get together, otherwise there is no point in watching all this. just to see them both happily settled with different partners, or for Sujal to be the self sacrificing lover who is willing to give up everything to keep Kashish happy.
If Kashish is seen as struggling to keep her family (both in laws’ and maternal) together even as Sujal gets married to someone he can never be happy with, we are left viewing sad tale of two responsible people whose love never meets in marriage.
Ekta must realise that she is doing enough to promote family values through her Kahani Ghar .. and Kyunki.. She can let other serials take their logical storylines. If there is anyone who has to be reformed in Kahin to hoga , it is cruel people like CG (Sujal’s idiotic father) Vasu, (Piyush’s mother), Rishi (Sujal’s brother) and Amar ( Piyush’s youngest brother who is utterly dominated by Rishi and supports that guy even in his misdeeds).
Don’t miss it, its irritating pace notwithstanding, its more interesting than many other serials on prime time. The chemistry between Sujal and Kashish is so good, their chracterisation so strong (even if they are both so fallible) the serial is worth watching just for them both..
